The piece concludes by recommending more research.</p>
<p>We know that in many cases pills only improve sleep in limited fashion and sometimes not at all, often masking sleep problems. Let&#8217;s hope more research gets funded to understand the complexities of sleep, which should lead to better treatments for sleep disorders.</p>
